Poc helmets on the world’s elite

There have been some TV watching lately. It hasn’t been just any TV programs, it’s all kinds of Alpine, on all channels. I really enjoy the winter when it is a lots of alpine skiing on TV. The best part is when it broadcast live. Then you really get to see everything.

A funny detail I’ve noticed is that more and more elite racers wear Poc products. The Swedish brand has really establish themselves and set their stamp on the world map. I’m happy to see it has become an international brand and that the pros use it. This may mean that the Poc is here to stay. And we’re happy about it. The winning concept in this case is probably that they’ve combined safety, comfort and design. It is important that you are not only safe on the slopes but that you also look good. To be attractive must be an important detail for the elite who are on TV very often.

I began to reflect upon this with their Poc helmets in the world elite and so I started to do some research. I found that Swedish alpine team has a partnership with Poc. That may explains the thing about Poc helmets in alpine races. Poc and alpine team has signed a three-year contract that includes both men, women and all disciplines. This proves once again that the poc is a brand with style and finesse.

The hemlet, the new beanie

When I was younger (15 to be precise) and thought I was the coolest cat around I often asked myself: Now where did I put my beanie? Before hitting the slopes. Beanie? What was i thinking with? Oblivious and dumb. Two words that described a younger me perfectly. The fact that the beanie were often made of some useless fabric with no function what so ever didn’t make my case any stronger. A slightest hint of snow and beanie would go damp to heavy and eventually end up as cold and wet. Pointless. And I’ve been wandering around pondering as to why you’d often come home from a skit trip with phenumonia

Fortunately, the situation has changed. Today, I value safety and functionality far more than anything. And if you catch me wearing anything but a helmet when skiing is involved, I’m probably on my way back home. Or on my way to the after ski, perhaps helmets should be compulsory there too?

I’m not the only one who has matured though. The whole industry has grown and taken giant steps, if not leaps, towards the exterior values. Helmets have been starting to look good rendering them more as a piece of clothing more than just a safety precaution. And , sadly, I think that’s the biggest reason behind my sudden adult attitude towards helmets. For that I send my gratitude to POC. So, thank you POC. Sincerely

The helm belongs on the head and the beanie in the bag,

A pal of mine has also matured and purchased a helmet for himself.

To be precise – this!

POC’s Vital

POC idea was, not so strangely enough, since our first date was to save lives. It sounds dramatic, but it’s actually exactly what the family makes the POC. They may not save livesso that they can try to fix when we had sat and lies in the hospital. POC is to ensure that wenever get there. Even though we fall, roll and fall will see the POC to the left as far as we can maintain good health. And for that bow and bend us.
A friend of mine after seeing my new helmet also been saved by the POC. This friend hasasked me for tips on what helmet I think he should have. Now he is a kind of person who does not go particularly extreme and not too fast, not because it justifies his next statement. He has said he in this matter more care about the outside than the inside. A nice helmetsimply. What do you think looks best? This or this?

The extended hairstyle

The helmet I linked in previous post has already got rid use and has already received its paces, turn that one is smart enough to wear a helmet. It is so nice with helmets is firmly inmy head and barely noticeable! POC helmets feels really so, or does not feel at all, perhapsone should say? They are like an extended hairstyle. A harder hairstyle. A hairstyle that saves lives. Skiers today are very aware of what they buy, not just visually but alsofunctionally (perhaps the most feature-wise - hopefully most feature-wise). The modern skieris a picky and conscious person who is not content with anything that is not the best. POC is in my best. POC - helmets for the modern skier? Sounds cliché and easy.

The helmet I bought last week is the way to be bought here!

New helmet!

What’s going through your mind when you’re purchasing new equipment? They way I it, there’s 3 types of customers; the one who first checks the specifications, the one who first checks the looks and the third one – The one who does both. Are you one of the latter? If so, then I’d like to recommend POC to you. With a helmet from POC you don’t just only get astonishing quality (a helmet from POC, now cracked, is one of the reasons to why I’m here typing this post today and a very good looking product but you also acquire a boost in your attitude. POC isn’t just a brand, POC’s an excellent way of letting other people know what kind of person you are. A person who cares deeply about their equipment and doesn’t accept anything that’s done with less than 100% perfection.

As mentioned before, I managed to crack my old POC helmet in the French alps of Chamonix. A new helmet has been bought, this is the result:

Thoughts?

FIS

What do you think of the new rules that FIS is implementing? Do you think it’s good for the sport? FIS is trying to do the sport much safer, but it is the right approach?
As you know, do Poc the safest helmets available for skiing. That is why they have wonlots of awards for its security thinking. We think that’s great. Now we wonder what you think, how can you do to make the sport safer? Should you want more protection?Helmet have all now, at least those who compete. But more and more people begin toactually ride with a helmet even though it is “just” on vacation. what do you think?

Poc helmets
Poc helmets are helmets from the Swedish helmet manufacturer Poc. Although Poc is a new and young company is Poc helmets among them best in the world. Poc helmets have from the beginning been really stylish and colorful, and also very safe, and that is still Poc helmets hallmark today. Now there are various models suited for different things. As such, there are helmets made of carbon fiber, which is for those who compete in alpine skiing and perhaps especially for you to go in the speed disciplines, then there are Poc helmets for downhill skiining, freeride, off-piste skiing, biking and lot of all-round models. A special Poc helmet is Receptor + which is a multisport Poc helmet, it works and is approved for skiing, biking, and water sports. It’s not just the first Poc helmet that I have found that has such a use, but also among other manufacturers. So in this way one can say that Poc Helmets are breaking new ground all the time. And to brag a little more about them have won lots of prizes, both for safety, which I think is the most important thing and the design which becomes the second most important.
If you compare how many people use a helmet now with 10 or 15 years ago so there has been a tremendous increase in usage and it is very positive, both to the safety of the athletes are much higher but also becomes more and more aware of the benefits and risks.
